Student participants will get to experience and learn the
culture and history of Brunei through the visiting of night market, museum,
royal palace and more. One of such would be the Istana Nurul Iman which was
included in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest living
residence of a state head. We will also be visiting the Royal Regalia Museum.
The huge chariot at the entrance used for the parade carrying the Sultan
through the streets of the city during his 1992 silver jubilee celebration is
so impressive as it is coated with Gold. Kampong Ayer is also the largest
village built on stilts in Asia.
Have you seen a red flesh durian before? You can see this in
the pasar malam and at the traditional market at Kianggeh.
There are many other exotic fruits which we don't see in Singapore too!
